ACCESSIBILITY STANDARD FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE POLICY
J.C. Bakker & Sons Ltd. is committed to excellence in serving all Authorized Visitors while providing a welcoming environment that is accessible for all. We strive to design and operate our public facilities so that they are accessible to everyone, and we are committed to operating in a manner that allows us to provide barrier-free customer service to all, including persons with disabilities.
We will ensure that our staff are trained and familiar with various assistive devices that may be used by Authorized Visitors with disabilities while accessing our goods or services.
We strive to make sure that our facilities are equally accessible to every one of our Authorized Visitors wherever possible.
We will communicate with people in a manner that is accessible and accommodating to their own needs.
We welcome people with disabilities and their service animals. While visiting J.C. Bakker & Sons Ltd., it is the responsibility of the person with a service animal to control the animal at all times.
Anyone who is accompanied by a support person will be allowed to have that person accompany them on our premises.
NOTICE OF TEMPORARY DISRUPTION
In the event of a planned or unexpected disruption to services or facilities for Authorized Visitors with disabilities, J.C. Bakker & Sons Ltd. will notify Authorized Visitors promptly. This clearly posted notice will include information about the reason for the disruption, its anticipated length of time, and a description of alternative facilities or services, if available. A notice will be placed at the specific location where there is a service disruption.
TRAINING FOR STAFF
J.C. Bakker & Sons Ltd. will ensure that all persons to whom this policy applies receive training as required by the Accessibility Standards for Customer Service. In addition, training will be provided on a continuous basis to all newly hired employees as part of our training process.
A record of training received by J.C. Bakker & Sons Ltd. employees will be kept on file.
J.C. Bakker & Sons Ltd. welcomes feedback, including feedback about the delivery of our services to persons with disabilities. J.C. Bakker & Sons Ltd. will investigate and respond to inquiries relating to such services in a timely, thorough and objective manner.
